I’m Sandra Shin
As an overcomer of human trafficking myself, I know first hand what it feels like to be used as payment. I know the pain of lost relationships, I also understand the powerlessness of being used and abused.
In March 16 2018, I did a speaking event on what human trafficking is and the signs to look for. From that event, 2 young girls were successfully rescued because individuals who attended the event were able to recognize the signs.
Romans 8:28 says: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
My story is not mine to hold. Now, after much healing, God has put it on my heart to give back. Please join me in this fight against human trafficking.

Who Am I After Human Trafficking?
I Am A Child of God
Many times in our lives we have no control over the things that are happening to us, in either good or bad situations. We can go through life wondering, “Why?” Wondering why is really futile, because we truly have no choice but to go on.
When we are in difficult situations, it is not easy to think about the wonderful ways God himself is in our lives. The truth is that God has been with us on life’s journey all the way from birth. Even when we don’t understand what is happening or why things are happening, God is there in every situation. He is guiding, comforting, encouraging, loving, teaching, and most of all, he is protecting.
When you read this book, please take the time to think of God’s richest blessings in your own lives. Even in the darkest of situations, such as: death, abuse, and crime. God is still God and he does care about us and about what we are going through.
This book is made up of five chapters that I hope will show how richly God blessed me even in the midst of all the chaos and pain I was experiencing.
